Many years of teaching experience have taught us that it is important for students to have proper reading and writing exercises to help review the material. Therefore, we include a grammar sheet that summarizes the course content. The 4 worksheets offer an opportunity to work on what you have studied during the course. Every section contains a reading exercise. You receive a short Hebrew text including the new vocables. Slow narration gives you the opportunity to improve your own reading. With the final test at the end of each section you can make sure that you are on top of the material learned before moving on to the next section.
Requirements for this Course:
You need to know the Hebrew alphabet, the Hebrew vowels, and should be familiar with the reading marks (Shwas, Accents, Dageshs, Open and Closed Syllables, Mappiq, Maqqef, Qamets Hatuf, Meteg) that we introduced in the online course “Reading Marks in Biblical Hebrew” and “Learn to Read and Write Biblical Hebrew”.
Completion of the Course:
You get about 50 minutes of video time.
If you do the worksheets, practice with the readings, and do the final tests at the end of every section, you can complete the course in approximately 5 hours of study time. We recommend that you take a break between each section.
