This course discusses the meaning of Psalm 100.
You receive:
- the Hebrew text
- the reading of the text (Israeli accent)
- a video of a webinar (1 hour 15 minutes) in which we go over each verse of the Psalm
- a detailed commentary (word analysis, parsing of all verbs)
Psalm 100 is one of the short psalms of only five verses, but strong in meaning.
During Temple times, a person would bring a תודה thanksgiving-offering, whenever they survived a life-threatening situation. This psalm was chanted during the service.
Just as well today, every person goes through any number of potential dangers during their life.
Oftentimes, we are not even aware. For all these, we may feel bound to render homage to G’d.
