- Beginners of Biblical Hebrew interested in the Verbal System
This course is an introduction to the Hebrew Verbal System. It teaches the verb forms of the regular (or strong) verb.
We introduce the forms and uses of:
- the Perfect of dynamic and stative verbs,
- the Imperfect of dynamic and stative verbs,
- Vav Consecutive Imperfect,
- Vav Consecutive Perfect,
- Active and Passive Participles,
- Infinitive Absolute,
- Infinitive Construct,
- the Imperative and its prohibition,
- the Cohortative and Jussive in the positive and in the negative.
The last lesson provides a review of the regular verb.
The Appendix provides the full Paradigm of the Strong Verb, as well as a full Dictionary in alphabetic order.

Before studying a lesson I suggest you:

- Print the Worksheet and do the exercises

- Study the Vocabulary and read the Notes before reading the Simplified Text
